WinMedStat was founded in 1988 Seeing the need for good and affordable practice management software for the physicians’ office, WinMedStat began reselling the MedStat Practice Management Software and then purchased the rights to MedStat In 1991. WinMedStat continued enhancing the software over the next 5 years.

In 1996, WinMedStat recognized that Microsoft Windows was way of the future, and began development of its new true windows based software, WinMedStat. WinMedStat formed a partnership with Microsoft as an IS to insure 100% compatibility and announced the release of WinMedStat in 1998. WinMedStat utilizes all Microsoft products, Microsoft Visual Basic, Microsoft 2000/2003/2008 Server, Microsoft SQL Server (2000 2005 2008) and integrates with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).

WinMedStat has always been a user driven system. New features, enhancements, and improvements have been continuously implemented using suggestions from the physicians’ offices. In addition to having excellent practice management software, WinMedStat has also built a reputation for excellent support after the sale.
